I've found my furever family!

If you're looking for a BIG cat, Darnell is your guy! Darnell's world turned upside down a few months ago when his owner passed away and he found his way back to the rescue. Despite being very scared about leaving his home, Darnell has put on a brave face and has made wonderful progress in foster care. While he is still shy, he's a big softy who loves to be brushed and receive belly rubs. Darnell is about 7 years old and weighs in at a whopping 22 pounds. He will need an owner who can keep him on a strict diet and work with a vet to monitor his health. He loves other cats, and would do great with a confident kitty companion who can show him that everything's going to be OK. (Dogs are unknown).
