So You Want To Adopt Your New Best Friend

Take a look at the cats that we currently have available for adoption and be prepared to fall in love! If you are interested in a meet and greet, please fill out our free application to get pre-approved to adopt. We will contact you within 24 hours of receipt, except on weekends and holidays.

The adoption application is the first step towards adopting one of our special fur-babies. The adoption process involves checking personal and veterinary references, as well as verifying with the SPCA that you have not been charged with animal cruelty. If you rent, we will contact your landlord to be sure that pets are allowed.

If you are willing to wait for the right animal to be matched to you,
you are an ideal candidate for Heavenly Paws Shelter. As our success rate proves, these precious cats are well worth the wait.

Apply

We appreciate you wanting to bring a cat into your home. In order for us to find the right pet for you, we need you to submit an adoption application.

Review

We will review your application upon receipt. If we have any questions or concerns, we will contact you for clarity.

Finding Your Pet

Once approved to adopt, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet.

Additional Information

  • We will not discuss adoption details regarding any particular cat if you have not yet applied to adopt.
  • Heavenly Paws Shelter is a 100% volunteer, non-profit organization. We will make every effort to schedule your home visit in a timely manner. Please be patient with us…the cats need our time too.
  • All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all shots prior to adoption
  • Adoption fees range from $50 to $120, based on the age and health of each individual animal.
