I'm ready for my new family!

Hi, I’m Pewter! For a long time, my life was all about being a devoted mama, but now my kittens have been adopted, and I’m finally getting to be my own cat.

When I arrived in foster care in November, I was afraid of even being touched. With a little time and a lot of love, I’ve learned that people can be pretty great, actually. Now I purr non-stop, and I love spending time with my foster family. I take my time with new people, but once I trust you, I’m very loving and playful. Not only am I adorable, I'm also smart - I have learned "boop," "paw," and "lap!" I’m growing more confident every day.

I get along well with the other cats in my foster home, but I would be fine on my own too. I'm even getting used to the dog (she's so big though!). I’d like a quiet home with experienced cat people who understand that love just takes time. If you’re ready for a gentle soul with a big, brave heart, I’m ready for you!
