Maxine is a beautiful 5-month-old tabby looking for a home where she can blossom. After living the first few months of her life outside, Maxine was scared when she first came into rescue, but she soon learned to trust people - as well as her new best friend, Darnell!
Have you ever heard that the best thing to do in prison is befriend the biggest guy there? That's pretty much what Maxine did with 17-pound Darnell. The two of them have become inseparable, and can often be found cuddling and grooming each other. They make an odd couple - with a 12 pound weight difference! - but we would love to see them find a home together.
Maxine is spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. Both Maxine and Darnell are timid and will require a cat-savvy home with special people who are willing to accept their quirks and continue working with them to help them feel comfortable - but we're sure these special buddies will be worth the effort!
