Nala came into our care terrified of everything and everyone, hiding curled up in a ball and growling at every movement around her. In her weeks in foster care, she has started to relax, greeting her foster with the cutest meows and starting to show her adorable personality. Once afraid to be touched, Nala now loves pets and kisses! She enjoys being held in a blanket like a baby, which is when she is the most relaxed.
We suspect Nala will always be a rather timid cat, so she will need to have a calm, quiet home. She would do best with someone experienced with cats, who won't mind if she hides a lot until she's comfortable and won't force her to interact if she's not ready. She'll need a home with no dogs or small children; her previous home had dogs, and she was very scared of them. She also seems to be afraid of men, so she might do best in a home with just women. Now that she's living in a calmer household, she is turning into a sweet, chatty little girl, who is still sometimes distrustful of people, but desperately wants love and attention.
Will you be the one to give this scared, sweet girl the safe, loving home she deserves?
